Mantoloking, New Jersey

The Borough of Mantoloking is a small coastal town located in Ocean County, New Jersey. It is known as one of the premier towns on the coast of New Jersey. It is almost exclusively residential in nature, and currently has no commercial establishments. The only properties other than luxurious year-round and summer homes are municipal buildings such as the police station and borough hall, as well as the post office, and an Episcopal church.

Mantoloking’s unique barrier island location offers the best of all worlds – sailing, fishing, boating and more on Barnegat Bay, and enjoying cool breeze on the ocean beaches. It is also known for its famous sunsets! There is also a private yacht club.

There is a very friendly, comfortable “bare feet” feeling, and while quite elegant, Mantoloking offers a more relaxed atmosphere than places such as Spring Lake, NJ, the Hamptons, and Newport, RI. Mantoloking was incorporated in 1911, and has been and is loved by many from then until now.
