Bay Head & Mantoloking Today – December 2018

We hope that you’re enjoying the holiday season, and that you are ready for Christmas!  We will both be home for Christmas with our families, and are looking forward to some quiet time!  All is calm, and all is bright here in Bay Head and Mantoloking, as you can see in the video below…  We wish you the happiest and healthiest of holidays, and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  We look forward to seeing you around town in 2019!

Around the Towns

All is well in Bay Head and Mantoloking.  The Bay Head Christmas Walk was well attended, and the Bay Head School is still selling Christmas trees behind the Bay Head firehouse (open weekends).  Beach replenishment in Mantoloking is nearly complete (work continues near the northern end of Mantoloking, and can be seen in the video above), and it is hoped that work will start in Bay Head early next year. The current schedule and status of each dredge can be found on the Army Corps website.  The Mantoloking borough hall is also nearing completion – you can see an overflight of it in the video above.

Meetings

Mantoloking Borough Hall will be closed on Christmas day, the day after Christmas, and New Year’s Day.  Though it is not published on their calendar, Bay Head is likely to have similar closures.  Mantoloking’s organization meeting for 2019 will be on January 3rd at 5:30pm at Mantoloking Yacht Club.  Bay Head’s reorganization meeting will be held at 6:00PM on January 2nd at the borough hall.

All dates are subject to change, and the latest information is usually posted on the respective website. More town meetings and events can be found on the town calendars: Bay Head | Mantoloking
